Dear Blogville,You know I am usually a happy boy who doesn't like to complain, but my people have made me sad.
It started 87 million years ago when I cut my foot.
They made me wear a sock, they put spray on it (that I hated and it smelled bad), they shoved a pill down my throat, they didn't let me play ball a thousand times a day, and I took all of this without complaining. However, they have crossed the line.
I have evidence that they have been doing this without me:
That's right, they have been going to the beach swimming without me. I know because I can smell the lake on them and their things.

Oh sweetie, I hate to say it, but Lady really is looking out for your best interest. If that footie got bad infections in it, you would be far worse off. Hang in there, hopefully the footie will be better soon and you will be back out at the lake with your fam. :-)
ReplyDeleteAwwww, you're so sad now we are sad too. I think maybe it's a good thing in disguise as a bad thing. It will pass soon and you'll be back to swimming in no time. In the meantime, keep working the sad face and try to get extra treats!!!!!

Unfortunately we are offenders too, Boomer and Dottie are never happy when we leave them and come back after a good long hike with all sorts of new sniffs they didn't get to have.
ReplyDeleteWhen Tucker broke his toenail, he had to walk on the leash--even when his brother and sister ran around the yard without one. It was horrible. At least he didn't have to wear the Cone of Shame. We feel for you. Get better soon!

ReplyDeleteAww!!! They are just trying to do whats best for you! And yes, my huskies get mad at me sometimes when I do things without them. I will come home, they smell the crap outta me, and then look extremely upset that they didn't come along!!!

Phod, say it isn't so?!? How could they sneak off to the lake without you and then come home smelling of lake? Do they think that you cannot smell it on them?!? Keep up the sad eyes...I am sure it will work soon and they will take you with them.
