About Zaphod's name:
We have had a number of comments lately asking if we are big fans of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. While we are, Zaphod was named by his foster mom Jenn, and we just decided to keep it!

ReplyDeleteJenn the foster mom here, we named him Zaphod because he was picked up hitch-hiking along a busy highway in Ontario. He is such a wonderful guy and I come back periodically to get my Phod fix!

(When our person came home yesterday smelling like Simon - she goes off to play with other Dogs, did you know that??? - Cobi growled and guarded his smell on our person's pants. I was not even allowed to get close the Simon-scent!) So perhaps you can be my Dog-friend, Phod? Cobi will be jealous, I know it!

Not onlyhas Mommy readed all the Hitch Hiker Books, she has seen the movies, listened to all the radio shows (they is great on the iPod when yous traveling) and she LOVED the TV show. Zaphod Beeblebrox not only has 2 heads - he was President of the Galaxy!

Zaphod looks very serious in the photo, like he's guarding the tree and wants to make sure it stays perfect for when Santa brings him bones and toys! :-)
