We would like to award the worst mischief of the week to our friend Barley. Barley is Grammie and the Big Guy's chocolate lab. Normally he is a pretty good dog, but this week he was not so good.

See he and Grammie and Tendra (their black lab) were on the beach (which is their front yard). Grammie had just put Barley on leash as the algae cleaner was coming up the beach. She had looped his leash around her wrist. Just as she did that a bird landed on the beach. Bar wanted to protect everyone for this evil bird so he tried to scare the bird away. When he pulled, he pulled the leash down Gramme's hand and hurt her finger. She knew it was bad when it was bent at a 45 degree angle. She had to go to the hospital. Xrays confirmed it was broken. So poor Grammie has a very sore finger!

Tendra, who is usually their mischief maker is celebrating that for once it wasn't her!

Oh no! Hope Grammies finger gets better soon! Poor Barley, he was only trying to fight off the evil birdie!
